The Somerville HSA strives to enhance the already outstanding curriculum at Somerville School through the addition of assemblies, author visits, and classroom improvements which benefit all of our students during their time at Somerville. In addition to curriculum based enhancements, we organize fun events for your entire family such as Lip Sync, Bingo Night, the Back to School Picnic and International Night. We also plan creative ways to thank and acknowledge our wonderful teachers and Somerville staff throughout the year with luncheons, sweet surprises and appreciation events.
Together we will:
* Promote social activities that heighten school spirit, encourage family togetherness and promote humanitarian efforts within our community.
* Encourage and organize volunteer support for School and HSA events & programs.
* Provide support for cultural and educational programs at Somerville.
* Conduct purposeful fundraising to support programs, classroom enhancements and community events at the school.
* Nurture an environment where all are welcomed to present new ideas, offer feedback and opinions.
